When i first tried Samba i wasnt a huge fan, But i gave it a few chances and it really started to grow on me. Its definately a unique fragrance. Its crisp and flowery but not to the point of giving you a headache! It has a nice scent to it, as first i felt it might be a little more mature for me to wear but i still occasionally wear it, i just feel like someone 30+ would enjoy and smell better with it than me.. . . I give Samba (original) 3.5 stars out of 5

I found this product back in the 80's and it instantly became my everyday favorite. My friends and family would tell me that if I were to be a fragrance, I would be Samba! I purchase so much of it that it lasted me for years. When I finally ran out, I went to buy more only to find that the company changed the original fragrance but kept the same name. The blue bottle is NOT like the original purple bottle with the green top. I have not worn the fragrance since. If I could find the original fragrance, I would buy it in a heartbeat. The closest I have found is "Addict" by Dior. But it is not like the original Samba. Where can I find the purple bottle?
